Tvíund Vísó Automator
GitHub Repo ¶
Short Description¶
A simple terminal app that helps you find upcoming tviund.com events and secure a spot as soon as registration opens.
Important
Scheduled registrations only run while your computer and the app are running — if you shut down your computer (or close the app), those scheduled attempts will pause until you start it again.
What you can do in the app¶
Log in once, reuse later¶
- Sign in with your tviund.com email + password.
- The app remembers your login details for next time (so you don’t have to retype them every run).
Browse upcoming events¶
- View a list of upcoming events in one place.
- See the most important info at a glance:
- event title and location
- start time
- registration open/close time
- how many spots are left (or if it’s full)
View event details¶
- Open any event to see the full description and the key timings.
- Quickly check whether you’re already registered.
Register (now or later)¶
- If registration is open: you can register immediately.
- If registration hasn’t opened yet: you can schedule it, and the app will try automatically at the right time.
Tip
Scheduling is the “set it and forget it” feature: you can queue registrations ahead of time so you don’t have to be at your keyboard the moment registration opens.
Unregister easily¶
- If your plans change, you can unregister from an event from the event’s detail screen.
Manage scheduled registrations (“Pending Actions”)¶
- See a list of everything you scheduled.
- Check what’s currently running and the last status update.
- Open details for a scheduled registration.
- Cancel a scheduled registration if you don’t want it anymore.
Recover if access changes¶
- If the app ever loses access due to an API key change, it prompts you to paste a new key so you can keep going.
Typical workflow¶
- Open the app and log in (or it logs in automatically).
- Browse upcoming events.
- Open an event you want.
- Choose:
- Register now (if open), or
- Schedule registration (if it opens later)
- Optionally review scheduled items in Pending Actions.
